Heading welcomes new Park & Ride facility
SDLP Councillor Brian Heading has welcomed the £870,000 investment into the extension to Blacks Road Park & Ride facility.
Cllr Heading commented:
“It is fantastic that this investment will see a doubling of car parking spaces available at this facility, totalling 557 parking spaces for commuters.
“Given the need to tackle congestion within the city, initiatives like this are an excellent way to encourage commuters to leave their vehicles at this facility and avail of public transport.”
