Pat Catney was first elected to Lisburn City Council in 2011, regaining the seat in the May 2014 super council election for the new Lisburn and Castlereagh Council. Pat has sat on numerous committees during this council term and is chair of Lisburn’s Corporate Services Committee.
In 2017 Pat was elected as the first nationalist MLA in Lagan Valley since 2011
Before entering politics, Pat was a successful bar owner at the famous Kitchen Bar in Belfast.
He has also helped run St Patrick’s Parochial Centre in Lisburn and is often found helping out with the various groups that use the hall.:: Back to People
